You Are:

We are seeking a highly experienced developer in IBM ACE version 12 (preferred) to support one of our clients. This role will be 90% of the time working from home and you will need to go to office 1 day every 2 weeks.

The opportunity:

* As an IBM ACE Developer, you will be responsible, but not limited to:

* Creating IBM ACE flows

* Configuring ODBC/JDBC connections for flows (ODBC.ini and mqsisetdbparms)

* Proficiency in ESQL and/or Java for programming compute nodes or Java compute

* Creating REST APIs and/or application flows

* Executing SQL queries

* Performing tests with Postman

* Developing flows that consume external services with security certificates (JKS configuration)

* Documenting the implemented flows

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

* The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in the following areas:

o IBM ACE version 12 (11+)

o ESQL and/or Java

o Database connections via ODBC and/or JDBC

o Flow deployment.

o Creation of REST API services.

o Kafka
