The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) directs daily operations, including Visitor Processing, Badge Room/HSPD-12, Mail Screening, and Currency Destruction. The DPM ensures compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), staff scheduling, and occupational safety standards (OSHA 1910.95). This role also serves as a floater, providing coverage and leadership support for critical posts as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Deputy Program Manager will supervise daily operations for Visitor Processing, Badge Room, Mail Screening, and Currency Destruction activities.
  • Manage Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12) workflows, ensuring badge issuance, accountability, and compliance.
  • Deputy Program Manager will enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards, schedule reliefs for physically demanding tasks.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly operational reports; implement the Quality Control Plan (QCP) and corrective actions as required.
  • Deputy Program Manager will serve as a floater to backfill critical posts and manage overtime in coordination with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) will have the:



  • Ability to obtain and maintain a client specific adjudication.
  • Intermediate computer skills; knowledge of credentialing systems.
  • Skill in providing on-site leadership, guidance, and supervision to security personnel while ensuring compliance with client standards and operational requirements.
  • Skill in coordinating with client representatives and internal leadership to resolve operational issues and support mission success.
  • Skill in providing excellent customer service and effectively managing schedules to support operational requirements.
  • Ability to maintain situational awareness, ensure proper system use and accountability, and respond effectively to operational or security-related incidents.


Minimum/General Experience:



  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable client specific adjudication. Secret or Top Secret clearance is preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in multi-function security operations.
  • Intermediate computer skills, with knowledge of credentialing and access control systems.
  • Safety-first mindset, with experience enforcing personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.


Minimum Education:



  • HS Diploma, or equivalent
