The primary purpose of this position is to provide research support to CVM faculty working at the Center for Marine Sciences and Technology, both in laboratory and field settings. The employee is to provide technical expertise, project planning, laboratory management, and supervision and training of undergraduate and veterinary students.

Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work .
Department Required Skills
Strong skills in sound laboratory practice and sterile techniques. Working knowledge of molecular, histological, and microbiological techniques. Strong working knowledge and use of laboratory equipment, histology, and microscopy. Skill in conducting experiments to examine toxicity, infectivity and pathogenicity of various marine pathogens.
