ATS is looking for a highly motivated and experienced expert Data Exploiter / Cyber Technical Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for the below: The resource will analyze cyber threat intelligence gathered from existing sources to drive further intelligence gathering and collection efforts within the target network. The resource will have a basic understanding of computer networks and be able to develop and maintain expertise in a specific domain, driving the production of intelligence insights, informing operational decisions, and identifying opportunities from strategic initiatives. The resource will be expected to drive intelligence gathering efforts across multiple sources to support cybersecurity operations, including identifying opportunities to improve access to critical networks. This may involve partnering with other teams to develop and execute specialized intelligence campaigns. The resource will be expected to effectively communicate intelligence findings and insights to relevant parties, and to produce written reports summarizing the results of intelligence gathering activities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience an ability to communication complex information and concepts to an audience of varying levels of technical expertise.
- Demonstrated experience with a variety of technical tools and systems used for data analysis, research, and intelligence gathering, with the ability to learn and adapt to new platforms and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing data to identify relevant information, with the ability to recognize and extract key insights that can inform operational decisions.
- Demonstrated experience with media triage/exploitation.
- Demonstrated experience an ability to sort, catalog, and analyze multiple forms of data.
- Demonstrated experience with network traffic analysis (using Wireshark or similar tools) is required to support intelligence development and related activities.
- Demonstrated experience developing complex queries to distill large amounts of data (structured and unstructured) to drive targeting and technical operations forward.
- Demonstrated experience exploiting unstructured data.
- Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas: computer network forensics, network administrations, computer security, or large scale data analysis.
- Demonstrated experience with documenting findings and value of data in cable traffic or other knowledge management system.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing and manipulating a variety of disparate data collections in support of operations requirements.
- Demonstrated experience using strong investigative skills to perform independent analysis on a variety of data sets to find elements of interest, whether it be computing mobile devices, network activity, or individuals.
- Demonstrated experience extracting insights from data to support intelligence gathering, identify new opportunities, and drive informed decision-making through reporting and other channels.
- Demonstrated experience in reading Spanish language text and translating to English language summaries.
- A candidate must be a US Citizen and requires an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
- 8-10 years of experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience and familiarity with network analysis tools.
- Demonstrated experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Demonstrating experience with cloud computing or cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience with Internet applications and protocols.
