    Job Summary

    The Refurbished Equipment Coordinator is responsible for managing both the refurbishment inventory process and overall asset management for ZOLL Medical's factory refurbished program. This role combines hands-on operational tasks-such as classifying returned inventory, coordinating warehouse movements, and matching devices to refurbishment orders. The coordinator will also be responsible for communicating with sales and performing data analysis of our inventory with respect to incoming orders and inventory management. The ideal candidate will be both detail-oriented in managing daily inventory tasks and proactive in driving operational improvements across the inventory lifecycle.

    Essential Functions

    • Inventory Classification & Coordination:

    • Coordinate equipment movement from warehouse to depot and ensure organized storage.

    • Selectively move equipment into the depot based on pending orders and min-max criteria for refurb catalogs.

    • Refurbishment Order & Process Management:

    • Match pending refurbishment orders with suitable returned devices.

    • Segregate and tag equipment for part salvage, conversion or disposal.

    • Asset & Inventory Reporting:

    • Monitor backlog, generate status reports, and provide real-time stock visibility to our sales orgs.

    • Update in-stock quantities and maintain ERP records.

    • Team Collaboration & Process Improvement:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and resolve issues.

    • Identify operational enhancements to reduce turnaround times and optimize asset use.

    • Work closely with sales team to answer questions on inventory availability, lead times and pricing.

    • Work directly between the sales team and our service depot on large volume orders to ensure timely refurbishment and order fulfillment.

    • Perform regular data analysis of inventory to ensure proper inventory management and to reduce lead times for incoming orders.

    Required/Preferred Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma

    • A minimum of 2-4 years in inventory management, supply chain, or asset management roles within a regulated environment is preferred.

    • Candidates with customer facing experience are preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Demonstrated ability to manage both operational tasks and strategic asset oversight.

    • Technical Proficiency:

    • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data tracking and reporting.

    • Operational & Regulatory Expertise:

    • Experience with inventory classification, refurbishment process management, and asset tracking.

    • Key Soft Skills:

    • Attention to Detail: Capable of accurate classification, documentation, and inventory monitoring.

    • Organizational & Analytical Skills: Able to manage multiple priorities, analyze backlogs, and drive process improvements.

    • Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.

    • Problem-Solving: Proactive and resourceful in addressing operational challenges.

    • Perform regular data analysis of inventory to ensure proper inventory management and to reduce lead times for incoming orders.
