Job Summary

The Project Policy Analyst 2 plays a key role in supporting the department's compliance operations and advancing a culture of integrity across the organization. This position partners closely with leadership to coordinate high-level executive committees, develop and maintain departmental analytics, and track policy and procedure reviews that support effective compliance oversight.

In this role, the analyst contributes to major compliance initiatives, including exclusion monitoring, policy development, conflict of interest reviews, compliance training, and audit response activities. The position also serves as a first point of contact for individuals seeking guidance or reporting compliance and privacy concerns. This requires sound judgment, discretion, and strong analytical skills to assess inquiries, clarify issues, and connect stakeholders with the appropriate institutional resources.

The Project Policy Analyst 2 thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities while meeting varied deadlines. In addition, the role provides direct administrative and project support to the Chief Compliance Officer and the General Compliance Program Manager, including calendar coordination and preparation of executive-level materials and presentations. As needed, the analyst also supports other department leaders, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the compliance program.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload a license and/or certification if required for the position

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably in a health-related discipline, accounting, or a comparable area, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Experience within a healthcare setting
  • General analytical experience (e.g., analyzing data, reports, policies, or trends), and/or general legal experience (e.g., reviewing legal or regulatory documents, preparing memoranda, experience in a legal office).
  • Skills to independently conduct research, gather and synthesize large amounts of facts/data, both qualitative and quantitative in nature, and prepare statistical analysis for management review.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an executive-level office and providing high-level administrative support to executive leadership.
  • Experience providing project management and analytical support.
  • Experience using writing, editing and proofreading skills to produce business-related documents and documents that summarize issues such as complaints, investigative findings, memoranda of understanding and other reports and documents.
  • Experience supporting and managing complex committees.
  • Experience and knowledge of computer networks and documents management systems and applications thereof, software applications such as Windows, Excel, Microsoft Word, and other advanced software applications.
  • Experience maintaining discretion in recognizing, protecting and adhering to absolute confidentiality of highly sensitive or controversial information.
  • Skills to interpret documents, statutes, and regulations and summarize findings.
  • Familiar with the general compliance and privacy matters and processes affecting health system operations.

  • 15% - Independently Coordinates High-level Committees charged to the Compliance Department, including the Policy Committee, Health System Operations Committee, and Other Committees as Needed
