As an Allied Universal Security Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service, and document observations using site technology. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at an automotive location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, directing visitors and/or contractors, and following check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other systems; report unusual activity and follow escalation procedures as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Complete routine inspections of doors, gates, loading areas, and other access points; report maintenance concerns and/or hazards through the appropriate channels.
  • Document incidents, patrols, and daily activities in written reports and logs per site requirements.
  • Support shipping and receiving areas by observing dock activity, verifying inbound and outbound traffic, and reporting irregularities to management.
  • Provide direction during evacuations and/or other emergency events according to site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while maintaining a customer-focused presence and adherence to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
