Description

The Technical Project and Compliance Manager (TPCM) is responsible for the overall success of the assigned project by ensuring quality, schedule, and budget are achieved through coordination with all departments supporting the project. The TPCM acts as a bridge between complex technology and business goals while leading projects from initiation to finish. The TPCM ensures alignment with industry standards, company policies, processes, and quality benchmarks. The TPCM provides standardization while serving as a crucial liaison between developers, business leaders, and clients.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide standardization of policies, processes, and procedures across company business units.
  • Define project scope; develop project plans; establish milestones; assign tasks; and monitor progress for technical projects.
  • Coordinate and support all assigned projects, including government and domestic efforts, by guiding technical teams, supporting training initiatives, and fostering collaboration to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of project goals and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with customers to drive projects to completion on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with customer expectations.
  • Organize project objectives, requirements, and deliverables into structured programs and implement plans to support successful project completion.
  • Formulate and recommend policies and implementation strategies related to project management planning and development.
  • Manage and coordinate projects with staff and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, translating complex technical information for non-technical audiences and providing regular progress updates.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

A&P Mechanics license and Inspection Authorization preferred.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical and compliance-related information to management, customers, and cross-functional teams, and to respond to questions in both written and verbal formats.


MATHAMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply basic mathematical and algebraic concepts, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions, to support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance-related analysis.


REASONING, ANALYTICAL, AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS

Ability to analyze and resolve practical and complex problems involving multiple variables in environments with limited standardization. Ability to interpret and apply instructions presented in written, verbal, diagrammatic, and schedule-based formats. Ability to evaluate technical, operational, and compliance-related issues, apply structured analytical thinking, and support decisions aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.

TECHNICAL AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT COMPETENCIES

Demonstrated understanding of relevant technologies, systems, and processes supporting project execution and compliance oversight. Familiarity with project management methodologies and frameworks (such as Agile, Scrum, or similar approaches), as applicable. Ability to coordinate teams, manage resources, track project performance, and communicate complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency with job-related software and systems, which may include aviation or information management systems, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), project management tools, email, and internet-based applications.
