Our client, a global law firm with a strong presence in corporate shared services, is hiring an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis professional to support budgeting, cost allocation, and spend governance across corporate overhead functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, tightening controls, and turning spend data into clear insights for senior stakeholders.


What You'll Do


  • Own the creation, management, and tracking of the Corporate Shared Services budget, including decisions impacting future fiscal years.



  • Implement costing processes to support rebilling of qualifying expenses to legal practices and client matters.



  • Produce recurring spend reporting (actuals, forecast, variance-to-budget, allocations, and cost breakdowns).



  • Review, approve, and allocate invoices-ensuring accuracy against contracted spend and proper coding.



  • Partner with global/local finance teams to standardize cost allocation and reporting categories.



  • Analyze spend trends and identify optimization opportunities and cost-saving levers.



  • Develop and maintain financial controls, approval matrices, and spend governance processes.



  • Support project costing, financial projections, and ROI analysis.



  • Maintain and update cost management policies aligned to global accounting and procurement standards.



  • Collaborate with Global Procurement to strengthen Procure-to-Pay controls for corporate overhead spend.



  • Participate in internal and external audits as needed.



  • Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from senior leadership.




What We're Looking For


  • 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, Financial Reporting/Analysis, or similar.



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (preferred).



  • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas/functions required).



  • Experience supporting corporate overhead spend (IT spend exposure is a plus).



  • Power BI (or similar dashboarding/visualization tools) is a strong plus.



  • Law firm experience and/or revenue cycle exposure is a strong plus.



  • Experience with Thomson Reuters 3E and/or Chrome River is a plus.



  • CPA is a major plus!!
