Overview The Mortgage Closer is responsible for supporting the loan closing function across multiple channels. This role ensures timely and accurate closings of mortgage loans while maintaining efficient processes and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities * Prepare and review closing documents, including balancing Initial and Final Closing Disclosures * Ensure accuracy and compliance while providing outstanding customer service * Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners to facilitate smooth transactions * Handle routine calls, emails, and chat inquiries in a professional manner * Execute daily work queues and escalate issues when necessary * Perform additional duties as assigned * Demonstrate behaviors aligned with organizational culture and values Qualifications * Associate's degree or equivalent work experience * Mortgage industry experience required; closing experience preferred * Knowledge of investor requirements, TRID rule, and regulatory standards * Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask * Passion for helping customers achieve their financial and homeownership goals Skills * Customer Service * Data Entry & Administrative Support * Loan Closing & Funding * Mortgage Loan Operations * Banking & Financial Services * Encompass Software * Title experience (preferred) Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorpark, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
