Dollar Bank is hiring for an entry level Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will demonstrate superb customer service skills and excellent security awareness while performing primary reception and visitor management responsibilities at the Bank's Corporate Headquarters and administrative support to the Corporate Security Department. Hours of the position are 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is 100% in person.
Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required. Banking/administrative experience required. Security experience a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills and good telephone etiquette is essential. Ability to work independently with little supervision yet be a team player and positive acceptor of on-going change. Ability to appropriately prioritize workload, meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks. simultaneously while producing accurate, high-quality work. Good organizational skills and detail oriented. Essential Functions: Managing the Bank's reception station within the Bank's Corporate Headquarters building and providing excellent customer service to personnel and guests while maintaining security control expectations. Processing building visitors, vendors, and employees, utilizing bank visitor management strategies and solutions. Physical and/or electronic file organization. Retrieval, organization, and distribution of Department mail. Office supply ordering, receipt, and tracking. Calendar, meeting, and event planning and scheduling that may include associated tasks and reviews. Creation, review, processing, and/or organization of Department documentation. Communicating and interacting in a professional and courteous manner, both written and verbally, with internal and external contacts, including but not limited to visitors, customers, employees, vendors, and security/law enforcement personnel. Answering telephone calls and evaluating for proper disposition. Providing department telephone coverage when needed. All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank's risk management program.
