GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the general guidance of the APP Manager, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with diseases and adverse health conditions following the written guidelines approved by the department. The APP will see patients for conditions such as pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain, pudendal neuralgia, myalgia of pelvic floor, persistent genital arousal disorder, overactive bladder, recurrent UTI, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, urinary retention, pelvic organ prolapse, atrophic vaginitis. Admin time includes in basket tasks, peer to peers, appeal letters, FMLA paperwork, staff assistance/questions about scheduling, coordination of care between our providers and neuromodulation reps. Also supporting physicians with results/calls/clinic-administered med orders and attending educational or collaborative meetings and department conferences.
