What does the Vice President Manufacturing do at Swire Coca-Cola? The Vice President of Manufacturing is a transformational enterprise leader responsible for advancing the performance, capability, and maturity of Swire CocaCola's manufacturing network. Overseeing six highvolume production sites that deliver more than 128 million cases annually, this leader is charged with elevating safety, quality, environmental performance, cost, service, and engagement through disciplined execution and bold modernization. The role defines and drives a forwardlooking manufacturing strategy, builds strong leadership capability, and leads significant change through our Integrated Work System (IWS), embedding accountability, continuous improvement, and a worldclass operating culture across the network.
Responsibilities:
- Provides enterprise leadership across the manufacturing network, with accountability for performance of 6 manufacturing sites and responsibility for closely aligned capabilities that enable end-to end operational excellence
- Proven track record of vertical startup for new lines and/or Greenfield manufacturing sites
- Lead high-performing organization to meet and/or exceeding KPI's measured on our Supply Chain Balanced Scorecards while effectively working cross functionally to ensure we meet customer expectations
- Ensures production of more than 128MM cases annually
- Delivers return on investment from the Integrated Work System (IWS) by serving as the Leadership Pillar owner, embedding employee empowerment and a zeroloss mindset while ensuring sustained value delivery across all manufacturing facilities.
- Foster a culture of excellence and accountability with an ability to create followership through our manufacturing transformation to World Class Operations
- Collaborate cross functionally across Supply Chain verticals to develop and implement various engineering, maintenance, and strategic infrastructure plans to ensure successful production delivery to enable business plans for now and into the future
- Oversee development and implementation of digital, automation and controls strategy for Manufacturing operations
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety and regulatory standards (KORE quality, environmental, and safety requirements; ensure compliance with ISO-9001, FSSC-022000 requirements, and all federal, state, and local laws/regulations)
- Lead development and succession planning for critical roles
- Establish a strong association with The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola bottlers to effectively learn best practices, provide guidance and be aware of changing trends/requirements
- Ensure SCCUS sustainability policies and SD2030 commitments are incorporated into production center master plans and strategies. Achieve glidepath milestones against these commitments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering Field required
- Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline preferred
- 10+ years leadership experience in Engineering and/or Operations Management, preferably in a multi-site environment required
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, operational P&L management and capital planning
- Understanding of manufacturing machinery and equipment controls data and statistical quality control measurements to drive improvement
