Job Summary

The Test Technician will deliver technical support to engineering teams involving moderately complex components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Test, inspect, modify, rework, and repair electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies, including prototypes and production units
  • Interpret and work from moderately complex drawings, schematics, specifications, SOPs, and safety documentation
  • Perform standard and industry-specific testing, troubleshoot failures, and ensure units meet quality control requirements
  • Operate with minimal supervision; coordinate multiple activities, reprioritize as needed, and provide guidance or training to other technicians
  • Support related manufacturing processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient information and material flow
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable certifications
  • Track and meet key performance indicators, including production deadlines, quality metrics, material levels, and compliance outcomes
Qualifications
  • Requires a High School Diploma
  • Experienced handling small delicate components, using ESD practices
  • Soldering and wirebonding experience a plus
  • Must be experienced in the safe handling of chemicals
  • Experienced in the use of various computer applications
  • Experience with MRP a plus
  • Must have good mechanical skills

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
