Why This Role Matters

The Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of a federal mail services contract in accordance with the Statement of Work. As designated Key Personnel, this position ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strong client relationships while fostering a positive, inclusive team environment. This role directly supports Didlake's mission by balancing contract performance, safety, quality control, and staff development.

What You Will Do



  • Direct and oversee day-to-day mailroom operations to ensure compliance with contract requirements, mail processing standards, and operating procedures.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Didlake Corporate Office, GSA clients, and onsite staff.
  • Provide programmatic and administrative recommendations to the Director of Contract Operations aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead, coach, and manage contractor personnel, ensuring adequate staffing, performance oversight, and positive team culture.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources on disciplinary matters and staffing needs, including securing additional personnel, supplies, or attire as required.
  • Act as Corporate Safety Officer for the project, overseeing compliance with safety standards and the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Recommend updates or revisions to mail processing guidelines to the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide on-the-job training for new staff and develop visual aids to support operational efficiency.
  • Assist with implementation of consumer service plans, performance evaluations, and wage determination reviews.
  • Oversee data collection and reporting related to mail volume, productivity, contract compliance, and federal reporting requirements.
  • Resolve operational issues and service complaints, including USPS and interoffice mail errors, within established timeframes.
  • Ensure routine maintenance of mailroom equipment and implement operational changes to accommodate increased mail volume or organizational changes.
  • Develop and monitor quality control procedures and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Review, implement, and enforce safety procedures; stop any activity presenting an imminent safety risk.
  • Manage project payroll records, purchasing, inventory, and stewardship of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
  • Ensure professional conduct and decorum of all Didlake staff in accordance with company policy and GSA requirements.
  • Complete and maintain all required Didlake training.
