Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant About the Role We're seeking a detailoriented and memberfocused Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to support our Loan Officers and help members successfully navigate the mortgage loan process. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact, ensuring applications move efficiently from preapplication to closing. If you thrive in a fastpaced environment, excel in communication, and enjoy helping members achieve their homeownership goals, this position is for you. What You'll Do Member & Loan Officer Support * Act as a key communication link between Loan Officers and members. * Provide timely updates, guidance, and support throughout the entire mortgage application process. * Communicate with members daily-approximately 50% by phone and the remainder through virtual channels. Loan Application Processing * Collect and review required documents to determine loan approvability. * Analyze income, assets, and supporting financial documentation. * Maintain accuracy when updating information in loan operating systems. * Manage applications from preapplication through postapplication stages. Pipeline & Workflow Management * Oversee a personal pipeline of 45-60 active loan applications, with higher volume during peak seasons. * Work from an assigned queue after Loan Officers complete the initial setup, allowing you to efficiently finalize outstanding requirements. What We're Looking For * Strong communication and customer-service skills. * Ability to multitask and prioritize in a volumedriven environment. * Comfort reviewing financial documentation (income, asset statements, etc.). * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Experience with mortgage systems or financial services is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Winchester, VA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
