The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and The Division of Neurology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include coverage of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, the Epilepsy EEG/VEEG reading service and outpatient clinics. The candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in research in epilepsy. The candidate will also partake in teaching of pediatrics residents, neurology and epilepsy fellows, and other trainees.

Qualified candidates must be an MD and board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology, with special qualifications in Pediatric Neurology in addition to Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy training. The candidate must also be licensed in the State of Illinois to practice without restriction.

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.

The expected base pay range for this position is $216,756 - $241,000.

Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
