The Director of Stem Cell Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for the Stem Cell department, overseeing daily operations, quality, financial performance, and program growth while ensuring regulatory compliance and clinical excellence.

The successful candidate:

  • Lead the operational, financial, and quality performance of the Stem Cell department

  • Oversee daily operations, budgeting, cost management, and program development

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve clinical outcomes, patient experience, and program growth

  • Partner with Finance on budget planning, financial reporting, cost analysis, and fixed-price transplant contracts

  • Establish and monitor departmental KPIs aligned with enterprise initiatives

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with physicians and multidisciplinary partners

  • Lead, mentor, and manage staff, including hiring, performance management, and productivity oversight

  • Ensure ongoing quality, data management, and reporting excellence

  • Maintain continuous readiness and compliance with Joint Commission, FACT, and FDA standards

  • Serve as liaison with the Cell Therapy Collection and Processing Laboratory

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • 5 years of progressive experience in an oncology/stem cell transplant department, Experience in CAR T-cell therapy and 3 years as a departmental leader or program coordinator

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare or related field

  • Preferred licensure/certifications: RN, BMTCM, CCTN or
    OCN
