We are looking for a NUTRIA LIMS Developer who will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The LIMS is named NUTRIA and is associated with systems implemented across our global laboratory network (Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Brazil, Ireland, Poland, South Africa). The primary focus is to ensure operational excellence, system scalability, and alignment with our enterprise architecture standards. The position is open in one of the 32 countries where Merieux NutriSciences operates. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and IT teams to identify opportunities for enhancing LIMS functionality and performance.
- Application Maintenance: Manage corrective and evolutive maintenance, including configuration, administration, upgrades/patches, and bug fixes.
- Technical Design: Develop robust technical solutions that meet functional requirements while adhering to coding standards and performing rigorous code reviews. On call activities out of normal business hours to be planned.
- Reporting & Data Analysis: Design and maintain Crystal Reports, Excel exports, client-facing data reports, and KPIs to support laboratory functions.
- Business Support: Assist business teams with analysis configuration, test list creation, and the management of static data within the LIMS.
- User Empowerment: Provide comprehensive documentation, user support, and training to ensure high levels of internal client satisfaction.
YOUR PROFILE
- Minimum of 5 years in IT system configuration and technical support. Labware development experience is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in database programming (SQL first then Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, PL/SQL).
- Proficiency in languages such as LimsBasic, VB, Windows scripting, Python orJava.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills (oral and written).
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a complex environment.
- The capability of abstraction, high level thinking, to build solution.
- Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory for our multi-country operational footprint.
- French is a plus (Most of the team is located in Tassin, Lyon Area France).
- LIMS Platforms: Labware (V8 preferred)
- Reporting Tools: Crystal Reports (v9/v11)
- Programming: LimsBasic,Visual Basic, PL/SQL , Java/ Python
- Database Management: Oracle, SQL, PL-SQL. Database design (schemas, tables, materialized views)
- Integration: Experience interfacing with laboratory instruments
