Job Description

Purpose:

Amcor Rigid Packaging Solutions North America has an immediate opening for a Product Line Analyst in Evansville, IN. The successful candidate will work with Finance, Product Line Management and Sales to prepare customer price documents, quote prices for stock products and promote the prices to JDE.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare customer specific price files for each price change and verify details meet established criteria
  • Enter and maintain prices in the JDE system for assigned markets and products
  • Assist with price inquiries and discrepancy questions
  • Maintain cost information in the liner calculation program
  • Work closely with Product Line Managers to execute the product strategies when setting prices and updating price files
  • Interact with Purchasing, Operations and Finance to develop accurate manufacturing cost estimates for new stock configurations
  • Independently analyze cost, established prices, market dynamics and competitive activity to set prices that meet company profitability goals and win new business
  • Approve price exceptions and adjustments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical and communication skills
  • Interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality
  • RPSNA manufacturing, customer and product knowledge is a plus
  • Travel Requirements: 0% - 5%
