Lubbock Program Coordinator 43729BR College Readiness Position Description Supports the program director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The position requires knowledge of TSI placement rules, institutional academic processes, and frontline customer service practices, along with skills in clear communication, active listening, and managing multiple student support channels. The coordinator must be able to maintain accurate records; create and update website content and student-facing materials; and effectively use Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, and related systems. The role requires the ability to explain complex information in a student-friendly manner, work independently to resolve routine issues, make minor improvements to communication processes, and interact professionally with diverse students, advisors, and campus partners while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Required Qualifications High school plus six years experience in related field. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications A Bachelors degree is preferred. Additional preferred qualifications include experience in higher education or student services roles, especially those supporting academic processes. Preference will be given to candidates with skills in website content updates and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and institutional systems. Strong communication skills, accuracy in handling student information, and the ability to independently resolve routine issues or suggest process improvements are also desired.
