Rx Savings Solutions (RxSS), part of McKesson's CoverMyMeds organization, offers an innovative, patented software system that educates and empowers consumers to make the best healthcare choices at the lowest cost. Founded and operated by a team of pharmacists and software engineers, we support a collaborative, cost-saving solution for purchasing prescription drugs.

We're looking to hire aDirector, Marketing Operationsto provide strategic oversight for marketing technology and data to drive revenue growth and patient engagement, while overseeing omni-channel campaign execution, budget and performance. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams across the business to drive successful outcomes for Revenue Marketing (B2B) and Engagement Marketing (B2C). The desired candidate will have a strong combination of both strategic and technical background leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud in previous roles. This role oversees the internal marketing operations team and works closely with product, engagement, engineering, and commercial teams. Key duties include leading strategy and planning, managing lifecycle campaigns and operations, delivering scalable experiences, evaluating performance, and applying data insights to guide planning.

* Our ideal candidate will reside in Overland Park, KS or Columbus, OH to support a hybrid work schedule, but we may consider a well qualified full-remote individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop marketing operations strategy and roadmap, plans for new tech/AI innovation and improved customer experiences and journeys. This includes support for both B2C and B2B campaigns driving engagement and demand generation.

  • Process & Technology: Oversee marketing tech stack (marketing automation platform), optimize workflows, manage budget and ensure data integrity for campaign execution. Partner closely with Salesforce team to develop scalable architecture for omni-channel experiences and lifecycle marketing.

  • Operations & Development: Lead the development, implementation, execution and enhancements of existing and new patient experiences in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.

  • Data & Analytics: Lead team responsible for testing, reporting and outcomes; analyze campaign performance and provide strategic, actionable insights and recommendations to leadership. Manage segmentation strategy, personalization planning, and implementation of attribution models.

  • Campaign Management: Lead oversight of lifecycle and campaign strategy, ensure content resonance, monitor outcomes, and drive optimization of performance. This includes omni-channel strategies and touchpoints such as email, direct mail, SMS, phone campaigns, and provider outreach.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with product, sales, engineering and analytics teams to ensure marketing efforts support business goals, such as product revenue growth, demand generation, member engagement and customer retention. Work with legal, compliance and privacy to ensure requirements are met. Operate as one team with shared outcomes.

  • Leadership: Manage marketing operations team, mentor for career development, foster a customer-first culture, and manage change within a dynamic environment. Responsible for team processes, standard operations procedures, technical documentation and quality control.

  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and data privacy laws (e.g. HIPAA). Understand and execute data capture plans, privacy and consent management.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or engineering, or equivalent, and typically requires 12+ years of relative experience, including 4+ years of management experience

  • 7+ Years of experience in Marketing Automation and/or Operations roles, preferably in healthcare and/or SaaS industries

  • Strong B2C and B2B marketing background, data storytelling, and technical expertise (Marketing Automation Platforms, CRM)

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience required, and Data Cloud experience strongly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of AMPscript, SQL and HTML/CSS/Responsive Design

  • Deep knowledge of Marketing Cloud data structure, APIs, Data Extensions, Marketing Cloud SFTP and functionalitysuch as Journey Builder, Email Studio,and Marketing Cloud Connector App within Salesforce

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Sales, Service and/or Experience Clouds

  • Knowledge of product development lifecycle and tools, such as JIRA

  • Experience working in healthcare or another regulated industry with knowledge of HIPAA, PHI/PIIdata privacyandcompliance requirements

  • Leadership and stakeholder management, and ability to work in ambiguity

  • Experience in building scalable systems and driving automation for growth

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $114,000 - $190,000
