Senior Finance Analyst

Job Description:

Location: Remote or based in West Valley City, Utah

Job Overview

The Senior Analyst will be primarily responsible for managing Intercompany Accounting and the General Ledger (GL) processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across the organization. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Intercompany Accounting transactions, reconciliations, and settlements.
• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Support the business units with the analysis and investigation of the transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations.
• Collaborate with other finance teams to resolve discrepancies and support financial reporting.
• All other reasonable duties as assigned

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with exposure to Intercompany Accounting with FX, transfer pricing and markups.
• One Stream experience is a plus .
• Languages : Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

• Work Environment : Office-based role; may require occasional virtual collaboration with global teams.
• Lifting Requirements : Minimal; occasional lifting of files or office materials up to 10 lbs.
