Production Cost Accountant Support standardization across APG printing plants while developing cost- reduction and pricing strategies to maximize return on investment. Prepare internal budget reports and perform month-end close activities, including reconciliations. Investigate financial discrepancies, conduct audits, and ensure ongoing compliance with APG accounting standards. Responsibilities « Analyze production and manufacturing costs to improve efficiency and compare standard vs. actual costs. « Ensure accurate expense classification in compliance with GAAP. + Review material and service costs for accuracy and pricing opportunities. « Participate in inventory counts, evaluate inventory needs, and analyze quarterly cost allocations. « Prepare cost projections to support regional decision-making. « Travel to APG locations up to 10%. Required Skills and Qualifications « Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, commerce, or accounting. + 3+ years of accounting experience; printing environment experience preferred. « Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting systems. « Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Preferred Skills and Qualifications « Ability to translate data and analysis into clear, actionable reports. «CPA or CMA certification preferred. « Strong aptitude for data analysis, cost modeling, and cross- functional collaboration.
