Security Officer - Access Desk Driver

As a Security Officer - Access Desk Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive manufacturing location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs while providing excellent customer service. You will stay visible, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns to support daily operations. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control processes, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification and authorization, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and vendor logs.
• Support inbound and outbound traffic flow by coordinating with staff on delivery and pickup activity, confirming scheduled appointments when required, and directing drivers to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal management per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, monitor for unusual conditions, and report hazards and/or suspicious activity that may help to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
