Security Officer - Construction Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Construction Site Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will support patients, visitors, and staff with courteous customer service and clear communication, while documenting observations and escalating concerns as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service in a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of patient care areas, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by post assignment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from clinical staff and/or public responders when needed.
• Help to monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with wayfinding, and support staff with de-escalation and security-related presence when requested.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate significant events to site leadership, and maintain security-related logs and post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
