As an armed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with team members, employees, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, vendors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, suspicious activity, and alarms.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs, communicate observations to site management and/or law enforcement as needed, and support access control and delivery operations during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
