As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist guests and tenants through friendly customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and compliance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, corridors, exterior walkways, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, observe for suspicious activity, and help to deter policy violations, theft-related behavior, and/or disorderly conduct; report concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with tenant concerns, guest disturbances, medical response coordination, and/or evacuation support as directed.
• Document and communicate incidents, observations, and service requests through detailed reports and timely notifications to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
