Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Richburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site personnel, and deliver customer service with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate contacts as required by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, damage, and/or unusual conditions.
• Control access at gates, entrances, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in, and directing authorized traffic to designated areas.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate status updates to supervisors and/or site contacts, and support investigations by preserving observations and available information.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
