As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to requests, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and management. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and other security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, badge systems, and/or other security-related equipment and report unusual activity per post orders to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate resources and completing required notifications.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, loading and receiving spaces, and the exterior perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate status updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
