Job Summary:**

The Operations Supervisor at McKesson Medical Surgical will oversee daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety within our manufacturing facility. This role involves supervising production staff, optimizing workflows, and contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes to meet production targets and company objectives.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production operators, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Plan, organize, and monitor daily production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders and adherence to quality standards.
* Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment and compliance with all relevant industry standards.
* Monitor production performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
* Collaborate with other departments, including Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Maintenance, to resolve operational issues and ensure seamless production flow.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, coordinating with the maintenance team for necessary repairs or preventative maintenance.
* Participate in the development and implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
* Prepare and present production reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators, challenges, and proposed solutions.
* Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods on the production floor, coordinating with inventory control as needed.
* Address and resolve employee issues, providing coaching and performance feedback as required.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the medical device or regulated industry.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of production employees.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, lean methodologies, and quality control systems (e.g., ISO 13485, GMP).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
* Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
* Flexibility to work various shifts and occasional weekends as needed to meet production demands.

* Ability to get license as a Designated Representative with the Board of Pharmacy.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $52,700 - $87,900
