TheDecision Advantage Business Area at LeidoshasmultipleopeningsforNetwork and Security Operations personnelto work in our Orlando, FL office.Our team supports the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Battle Network and supporting infrastructure. These personnel will be involved in day-to-day activities and strategic long-term maturation of complex systems. Details are as follows:



  • Works under moderate supervision for routine tasks.

  • Reviewday-to-dayplanned activities and shift tie in to understand system status and ongoing efforts.

  • Attend daily briefings/meetings to discuss threats, updates, and operational goals.

  • Verify operational status of security tools.

  • Ensure logs and alerts are being ingested properly into monitoring platforms.Analyze escalated incidents from Tier 1.

  • Prioritizeincidentsbased on severity and potential impact.

  • Work closely with Tier 1 and Tier 3 teams.

  • Communicates with colleagues within own project/ work area to obtain or provide information requiring some explanation or interpretation.

  • Has substantial understanding of job requirements and overall function.Document all actions taken duringshift and prepare detailed artifacts to support stakeholders.

  • Update policies and procedures based on lessons learned.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Incident Analysis and Response.

  • Network Monitoring.

  • Escalation Management.

  • Vulnerability Management.

  • Incident Documentation

  • Team Coordination-Work closely with Tier 1 analysts, Tier 3 experts, and other IT teams.

  • Stakeholder Communication.

  • Policy and Procedure Development



Minimum Qualifications:


  • BachelorsDegree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology,Cybersecurity, NetworkEngineeringor equivalent and 4-8 years of experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • CompTIA Security+or equivalent DoD 8140Intermediatecertificationrequired.

  • Microsoft Certified: Security,Complianceand Identity Fundamentals.

  • Experience and knowledge of PC MS Office/M365applications & ability to work firsthand with customers.

  • Experience in handlingsensitive datafor commercial and/orGovernment customers


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

  • GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).

  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

  • Certified Ethical Hacker.

  • Cisco CertifiedCyberOps
