Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert Consultation: Answer high-volume phone calls and greet walk-in customers, providing knowledgeable advice on concrete and framing products.

  • Order Management: Accurately write up customer orders and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure fulfillment.

  • Transaction Processing: Securely handle cash and credit card transactions using our point-of-sale system.

  • Tool Service Coordination: Assist customers with tool intake for our service department, ensuring clear communication on repair timelines.

  • Relationship Building: Maintain our reputation for honesty by providing transparent updates and proactive solutions to order challenges.

What We're Looking For:

  • Punctual & Dependable: You understand that "on time" in the construction world means being ready before the first contractor arrives.

  • Strong Communicator: You are well-spoken, an active listener, and can stay calm and professional during the morning rush.

  • Detail-Oriented: You take pride in "measure twice, cut once" accuracy when it comes to order entry and cash handling.

  • Problem Solver: You don't just see a missing item; you see an opportunity to find an alternative that keeps the customer's job site running.

  • Experience: Previous experience in counter sales, retail, or the construction industry is highly preferred.
