Key Responsibilities: Expert Consultation: Answer high-volume phone calls and greet walk-in customers, providing knowledgeable advice on concrete and framing products. Order Management: Accurately write up customer orders and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure fulfillment. Transaction Processing: Securely handle cash and credit card transactions using our point-of-sale system. Tool Service Coordination: Assist customers with tool intake for our service department, ensuring clear communication on repair timelines. Relationship Building: Maintain our reputation for honesty by providing transparent updates and proactive solutions to order challenges. What We're Looking For: Punctual & Dependable: You understand that "on time" in the construction world means being ready before the first contractor arrives. Strong Communicator: You are well-spoken, an active listener, and can stay calm and professional during the morning rush. Detail-Oriented: You take pride in "measure twice, cut once" accuracy when it comes to order entry and cash handling. Problem Solver: You don't just see a missing item; you see an opportunity to find an alternative that keeps the customer's job site running.
