Production Operator - 1st Shift

Location: Acton, MA

Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

We are hiring a Production Operator to support medical device manufacturing at our Acton, MA facility. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing U.S. manufacturing operation focused on innovation, quality, and patient safety. The Production Operator plays a key role in producing finished medical devices while following regulated manufacturing, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Safely execute production processes aligned to daily manufacturing schedules
  • Assemble, configure, test, label, and package medical device components
  • Operate test fixtures, touchscreens, keyboards, USB connections, and light pneumatic equipment
  • Follow work instructions, SOPs, drawings, and production documentation
  • Perform data entry, inventory transactions, cycle counts, and material movements
  • Identify and report quality, safety, or process discrepancies to supervisors
  • Support continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and cross-functional problem solving
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment
  • Assist with Receiving, Shipping, and Quality functions as needed



Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of production or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Medical device or electronics assembly/testing experience a plus
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office preferred
  • Ability to distinguish red, green, and blue colors on handheld devices


This role operates in a regulated environment and requires adherence to FDA, ISO, and cGMP standards.
