Position Title: Inventory Control Clerk
Wage: $19.17 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-2:00pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Inventory Control Clerk position available at a company in Freeport, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Inventory Control Clerk Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the physical inventory count within the facility. - Maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe storage area, ensuring all items are properly labeled and easily accessible. - Conduct Daily Cycle Counts for raw materials, work-in progress, and finished goods to monitor inventory levels. - Regularly update inventory records, ensuring that actual stock quantities align with system records. - Familiarity with ERP or inventory/accounting systems. - Good organizational and communication skills. - Experience in inventory control, warehouse, or production environment. - Assist purchasing and supply chain teams by providing current stock level information and inventory forecasts. - Generate reports on cycle counts, discrepancies, and inventory trends for management review. - Investigate and resolve inventory variances through system research. - Ensure all products are stored in optimal conditions, and promptly identify and report any damaged, expired, or unsellable goods. - Collaborate with purchasing, shipping, and other departments to address inventory needs and resolve discrepancies. - Assist with Annual inventory Audit Selection. - Comply with all company safety policies and procedures. monroe@qpsemployment.com IND038 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
