Job Description

Summary: The Intern - Productions will provide general support across the entire lifecycle of video projects from planning and pre-production to production and post-production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned.

    Capture content in studio, on location and in-game from game action to ballpark experience.
  • Cut and assemble source footage and audio.
  • Curate music in a number of genres.
  • Assist in managing owned and rented gear.
  • Assist with Pre-Production planning efforts; conduct basic research to assist with ideation and planning including sourcing and managing talent pool for production.
  • Perform various administrative duties including documentation of meeting notes, managing internal schedules, and supporting the department with various tasks as needed.
  • Scout locations for off-site production and coordinate logistics with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Manage catalog of digital assets; log metadata, organize footage, etc.
  • Assist editors and motion graphic designers by prepping footage and photography in addition to locating assets, among other tasks.
  • Encode and share files for use across numerous platforms and traffic for broadcast.
  • Occasional flexibility in schedule to provide game coverage and events support for our digital team.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong organization, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects.
  • General understanding of various post-production software programs including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Basic technical knowledge related to video equipment.
  • Strong self-starter and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to work with - and excel in - a highly collaborative team environment.

Education and/or Experience

Candidates must be currently enrolled or a recent from an accredited college or university pursuing a Marketing, Communications or related field degree preferred.

Computer Skills

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software in addition to Adobe CC software.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, which may include heat, cold and various forms of precipitation. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Work Hours

Business hours are Monday - Friday 9 am - 5pm, however, additional hours will be required on weekends, evenings and some holidays. Occasional flexibility in schedule on game days.
