Overview LMI is seeking an experienced and responsible Acquisition Logistics Specialist in supply activities to maintain and improve the accountability, property management, and supply chain operations for the OA-1K platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance, skilled logistics management, inventory control, and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders, including multiple government agencies, contractors, and military personnel. The candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing warehouse management and inventory processes that are FIAR-compliant while serving as a point of contact (POC) for all supply chain management activities supporting OA-1K operations. Responsibilities Materiel Accountability and Property Management: Maintain accountability of all materiel supporting the OA-1K platform, including but not limited to support equipment, hand tools/testers, aircraft parts, and prime contractor inventory. Ensure equipment accounts are established in the appropriate Accountable Property System of Record (APSR), and property custodians are appointed to control assigned materiel in accordance with USAF and USSOCOM property management policies. Monitor compliance with FIAR principles and USAF/USSOCOM property management policies, initiating corrective actions when discrepancies arise or deficiencies are identified. Inventory Management: Initiate quarterly/annual inventories and perform inventory reconciliations as required to maintain audit readiness. Validate equipment inventory accuracy through thorough physical spot checks and quality assurance (QA) inventories at established locations and warehouses supporting OA-1K operations. Coordinate inventory management processes with prime contractor personnel to ensure proper accountability and documentation of materiel transactions. Establish processes and workflows for warehouse management and accountability that are aligned with FIAR compliance standards to support OA-1K operations and sustainment. Supply Chain Coordination and Oversight: Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) representative for supply chain management inventory and accountability for the OA-1K platform across contractors, military property custodians, and government stakeholders. Collaborate with MAJCOM and installation-level personnel to ensure the proper documentation of all materiel transactions supporting OA-1K operations, fostering seamless coordination between military and contractor roles. Ensure aligned logistics planning and integration to enhance supply chain efficiency, operational availability, and mission readiness. Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Compliance: Act as the FIAR compliance lead and subject matter expert for OA-1K warehouse, inventory, and property management activities. Develop and implement FIAR-compliant procedures for inventory control, reporting, audit preparedness, and lifecycle management of materiel. Train personnel on FIAR compliance requirements and monitor adherence to established procedures. Lifecycle Support and Sustainment: Establish and manage processes to support the long-term sustainment and operational readiness of materiel supporting OA-1K operations. Perform property accountability analysis and ensure proper disposition of excess or obsolete assets in line with applicable regulations. QA and Oversight: Quality-assure inventory outcomes, processes, and warehouse management systems to maintain accountability and improve operational readiness. Conduct periodic reviews, assessments, and inventory reconciliations to maintain audit readiness and compliance with FIAR requirements. Additional Duties: Act as the Property Book Officer (PBO) Clerk in support of the OA-1K Product Support Manager (PSM). Provide regular status updates to leadership on inventory management, FIAR compliance, and property accountability trends. Stay current on evolving regulations, policies, and best practices related to acquisition logistics and property accountability to provide informed recommendations to stakeholders.
