Senior* Construction Manager - Transmission & Substation Projects* Description We are seeking a Senior* Construction Manager* specializing in Transmission & Substation projects to lead the successful delivery of critical infrastructure initiatives. In this role, you will oversee and manage all construction activities tied to electrical transmission and substation work, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader in the field, your responsibilities include: * Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets for transmission and substation initiatives. * Leading and managing diverse project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. * Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. * Managing project risks and issues and developing mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum. * Procuring materials, equipment, and services needed for successful project execution. * Ensuring full compliance with all safety regulations and on-site standards. * Preparing and reviewing project documentation, including contracts, reports, and technical drawings. * Providing active leadership, guidance, and support to project teams and subcontractors. * Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, safety, and quality. * Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and Senior leadership to provide accurate project updates. Skills * Aerial * Electrical distribution * Aerial lines * Construction management Top Skills Details * aerial * electrical distribution * aerial lines * construction management Additional Skills & Qualifications * Manage Project Construction to ensure all work is performed to standard, within budget and on schedule, while assessing risk and minimizing adverse conditions-this includes challenging man-hour estimates and participating in job walk-downs. * Manage tasks performed by internal and external construction resources to maximize productivity, safety, quality, diversity, and cost savings. * Monitor performance and evaluate capabilities across the team. * Resolve engineering design issues, field barriers, and project delays to meet schedules. * Serve as a liaison between Project Management and work groups, ensuring smooth execution of project schedules, scope control, financial management, clearance orders, and on-site materials management. * Lead job site walk-downs and coordinate meetings with engineering, construction, and contract management personnel. * Monitor project safety and conduct weekly safety audits, verifying job briefings and informal on-site safety meetings. * Assist in Root Cause Investigations, Apparent Cause Evaluations, and operating incident inspections. * Review contractor quality assurance and verify compliance through audits, inspections, or field surveillances. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Berwyn, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
