Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (APP)/FNP/PNP/PA/Pediatrics/Sie Center/Instructor

Job Summary:

Clinical care of infants, children and adolescents with Down syndrome in an outpatient setting and participation in clinical research including clinical trials and quality improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility for the treatment and management of infants, children and adolescents with Down syndrome at our outpatient clinic or Network of Care locations.

  • Serve as the medical provider in multidisciplinary team visits providing evaluation and treatment of infants, children and adolescents with Down syndrome.

  • Provide clinical supervision for advanced practice nursing, physician assistant and/or medical students.

  • Contribute to ongoing clinical research projects, clinical trials and quality improvement efforts.

Work Location:

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

* Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing or physician assistant (MPAS)

* Eligible for licensure in Colorado as an Advance Practice Nurse (FNP, PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Condition of Employment:

* Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado

* Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

Some positions may require testing if access to Children's Hospital or their systems is needed at any time during employment with the University. If drug testing is required, it will be listed in the job posting.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 1-2 years of nursing or advanced practice experience in general pediatrics, developmental pediatrics or a pediatric subspecialty

* Prescriptive authority in Colorado

* Research experience

* Broad knowledge and clinical skills in general pediatrics and child development

* Commitment to Patient Safety, Quality Care, Communication, and Customer Service

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$95,000-115,000.

The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
