Test Data Analyst I

JRAD is seeking candidates for a Data Analyst 1 position to support Mission Test Support Services (MTSS) at Yuma Test Center by providing analytical expertise for the collection, processing, validation, and reporting of test data in support of U.S. Army developmental and operational test programs. This position works under the direction of senior analysts, test officers, and engineers to produce accurate, timely, and traceable data products that support test execution, reporting, and evaluation activities.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Assist with the collection, processing, validation, and organization of test data from live, virtual, and constructive test events.
• Perform basic statistical analysis and data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of test data.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and data tables to support test execution and reporting.
• Create charts, tables, and visualizations for technical reports, briefings, and presentations.
• Support test planning activities by helping identify data requirements and collection needs.
• Coordinate with test teams, engineers, and instrumentation personnel to resolve data issues.
• Maintain documentation to ensure data traceability and compliance with Army and Yuma Test Center standards.
• Support after-action reviews and lessons learned by providing data summaries and observations.

Required Skills and Education:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge in the use of LabVIEW, Matlab, MathCAD, or other numerical analysis software.
• Must have experience in data analysis and technical writing.
• Must have demonstrated experience as highly motivated; self-directed; able to set priorities and meet deadlines; able to follow through on complex projects; and strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Must have the ability to multi-task in a stressful, fast-paced work environment, be highly organized, and to adapt to any situation.
• Must be able to provide leadership to subordinate employees when necessary.
• Must have interest in learning and developing in the field of test and evaluation of military equipment and systems.
