JRAD is seeking candidates for a Data Analyst 2 position to support Mission Test Support Services (MTSS) at Yuma Test Center by providing analytical expertise for the collection, processing, validation, and reporting of test data in support of U.S. Army developmental and operational test programs. This role is responsible for leading complex data analysis efforts, ensuring data integrity across test events, and delivering high-quality analytical products that inform test execution, evaluation, and decision-making. The Data Analyst II serves as a technical resource to junior analysts and works closely with test officers, engineers, mission coordinators, and subject matter experts.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Lead the collection, processing, validation, and analysis of complex test data from live, virtual, and constructive test events.
  • Develop and maintain advanced databases, analytical models, and automated tools to support test execution and reporting.
  • Perform statistical analyses, trend assessments, and data quality assurance to ensure accuracy, traceability, and defensibility of test data.
  • Produce and review technical data products including charts, dashboards, briefings, and formal test reports.
  • Support test planning by defining data requirements, measures, metrics, and collection methodologies.
  • Coordinate with instrumentation, data collection, and engineering teams to resolve data discrepancies and anomalies.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior analysts.
  • Ensure compliance with Army, DoD, and Yuma Test Center policies, standards, and data management procedures.
  • Support after-action reviews, evaluations, and leadership briefings with data-driven findings and recommendations.

Required Skills and Education:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge in the use of LabVIEW, Matlab, MathCAD, or other numerical analysis software.
  • Must have at least four (4) years in data analysis and technical writing.
  • Must have demonstrated experience as highly motivated; self-directed; able to set priorities and meet deadlines; able to follow through on complex projects; and strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a stressful, fast-paced work environment, be highly organized, and to adapt to any situation.
  • Must be able to provide leadership to subordinate employees when necessary.
  • Must have interest in learning and developing in the field of test and evaluation of military equipment and systems.

  • Secret is required
