As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Rover in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts while delivering customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points, documenting observations and unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, gates, and delivery and/or pickup areas; verify identification and/or visitor purpose per site procedures and direct drivers and visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed shift activity reports and incident documentation, report hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and support loss prevention efforts through presence and observation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 6+ months of security experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
