About the Role

The HR Operations & Process Excellence Leader sits within Center HR, serving the entire enterprise by shaping strategies, standards, and processes that strengthen how HR delivers value across all businesses and regions. This role plays a critical role in leading enterprise-wide HR operational design, governance, and continuous improvement, ensuring consistency, compliance, and scalability across operating companies while supporting local flexibility where needed.

This leader brings curiosity, collaboration, and an enterprise mindset to modernize HR workflows, improve service quality, and enable scalable, reliable HR operations. Working within Gore's unique culture, this role advances how users do business with HR, promotes simplicity across processes, and ensures our practices are compliant, well-governed, and aligned with our high standards of stewardship and integrity.

This role is located at one of our facilities in Newark, Delaware or Phoenix, Arizona with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy enterprise-wide HR operational strategies, standards, and frameworks that simplify and align core HR processes across all operating companies while providing guidance and tools to aid adoption
  • Lead end-to-end workflow mapping, standardization, and optimization to create consistent, scalable, and user-friendly HR processes
  • Partner across HR, IT, and business teams to ensure enterprise processes support Gore's broader HR digital strategy
  • Serve as the enterprise business owner for the HR Case Management System and related digital HR tools, guiding design, enhancements, and cross-system integration
  • Establish governance, standards, and decision-making practices for HR operations technology to ensure consistency across operating companies
  • Modernize and digitalize HR processes using automation, workflow technology, data insights, and responsible AI to improve scalability and the Associate experience by monitoring enterprise-wide usage and performance data to continuously improve system effectiveness and harmonized HR operations
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners, COEs, HR Operations teams, and Operating Company HR Leads to ensure alignment on enterprise HR strategies and process standards
  • Build strong relationships across the network to influence without authority, steward enterprise-wide solutions, and enable collective ownership of HR excellence
  • Support HR leadership with data, insights, and recommendations that advance the HR operating model and service experience enterprise-wide
  • Provide thought leadership to global team responsible for HR service delivery and support transformational and digital HR efforts as needed
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with depth in HR operations, process excellence, or HR transformation
  • A minimum of 5 years of enterprise-level HR experience, influencing across multiple business units, regions, or operating companies
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with HR technologies, including case management, workflow tools, and integrated HRIS platforms
  • A minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience, leading HR teams or service delivery functions
  • Experience serving as a business owner or enterprise lead, driving standards, enhancements, and adoption
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR operations, including process design, governance, and continuous improvement
  • Proven success leading enterprise-wide process modernization that balances standardization, compliance, and local flexibility
  • Excellent communication and systems-thinking skills, with the ability to simplify complex processes
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally

    This position offers a hybridworkarrangementin the country from which the Associate is employed.Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree tocomply withGore's work arrangement policies.
