Sr. Mgr, EH&S

As the site leader of EH&S for the Lam Fremont operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, protecting the environment, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. You will lead a dedicated team and work collaboratively with various departments to create and implement EH&S strategies that align with our business goals and provide a safe and compliant framework for the business functions operating in the region.

• Lead the site EH&S team and promote a strong safety and environmental culture. Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and industry EH&S regulations and standards as applicable to the Lam Fremont site and in the context of the Lam EH&S mission. Develop, implement, and improve EH&S programs and policies aligned with company goals.
• Provide leadership and direction to the site EH&S team, fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. Collaborate with the stakeholder groups and cross functional teams to integrate EH&S into operations, manufacturing, and facilities work.
• Develop and implement accountability systems for consistently measuring and leading initiatives and continuous performance improvement. set goals for improvement and methods to monitor results.
• Manage systems for monitoring and reporting EH&S performance, driving continuous improvement and corrective actions. Oversee risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations. Maintain processes that support Lam EH&S programs and ensure documentation and compliance.
• Manage site audits (ISO 14001, RBA, etc.) and certifications. Stay current with industry trends, support corporate EH&S initiatives, and engage with external stakeholders to strengthen regulatory and industry relationships.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive EH&S leadership experience in a semiconductor manufacturing or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of EH&S regulations, standards, and best practices.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing EH&S programs and initiatives.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective ability to communicate and form partnerships.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Certification in EH&S (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist) is a plus.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
