- 40% Student Fellow Management & Outreach - As the primary point of contact for all prospective and current students, the program coordinator is central to the fellow lifecycle, beginning with a robust recruitment strategy aimed at generating a competitive applicant pool with a broad enough range of skills and experiences needed to meet the needs of our Community Host Partners. The coordinator should ensure that all students have equal access to the College Corps opportunity. Once applications are received, the role is responsible for organizing and reviewing submissions, implementing the interview process, and maintaining strictly confidential records of all candidate evaluations. Beyond selection, the position focuses on fellowship cohesion by developing intentional team-building activities and fostering professional growth through high-touch mentorship, which includes conducting at least two one-on-one meetings with each fellow per quarter (totaling approximately 120 meetings). In addition to mentorship, this role serves as the lead advocate and problem-solver for fellows, acting as the first point of contact for any concerns regarding their host organization placements. Working in close coordination with the Director, the role addresses placement issues and provides targeted coaching for any students who may be underperforming to help them return to program standards. Finally, the position manages the program's feedback loop by collecting and reviewing quarterly written evaluations and ensuring completion of the post-program survey to gauge overall fellow satisfaction and impact.

Central to the position is the ability to build and maintain strong institutional relationships by understanding each partner's specific needs and collaborating with the broader program team to address them. To ensure ongoing success, the role requires a rigorous engagement schedule, including at least one in-person site visit annually and quarterly meetings (totaling 45-60 meetings per cycle) through office visits, event attendance, or remote calls. Beyond these scheduled touchpoints, the position involves conducting additional check-ins as challenges arise and managing the collection of vital metrics and outcomes data from all community host partners. Additionally, the role liaises with Community Host Partners (CHPs) to guarantee that each student is being offered an adequate workload to meet their targets. In cases where a fellow consistently falls short of these requirements, this position is responsible for communicating with the Financial Aid Officer to pause stipend payments until the student returns to full compliance. Keeps the manager informed of all programmatic changes and proposed changes. Prepares and presents program updates to staff and supervisor at weekly meetings. To facilitate professional growth and operational efficiency, the supervisor designs and implements comprehensive training sessions, conducts weekly team meetings to maintain alignment, and utilizes robust project management techniques to track progress on various initiatives.
