POSITION SUMMARY:


The Sr Total Rewards Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring our team's success through the strategic development and management of comprehensive compensation and benefits programs. This includes conducting market research to maintain competitive packages, overseeing annual processes like merit increases and US open enrollment, and consulting on policies to balance organizational goals with employee needs. With responsibilities that extend from the administrative to the strategic, including job classifications, salary band management, and negotiations with benefit providers, this position is central to fostering an engaging and equitable workplace that attracts and retains top talent.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:



  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive benefits programs, including but not limited to, health insurance, retirement plans, and other company benefits.
  • Administer the company's North America benefits programs and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Lead the end-to-end U.S. Open Enrollment cycle, participating in strategy and planning development, communication, testing, execution, and post-implementation review.
  • Collaborate with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders on benefits renewals, plan design improvements, and vendor performance evaluation.
  • Participate in benefits systems-related work (configuration updates, automation enhancements, or future implementation projects).
  • Oversee leaves of absence (FMLA, parental, personal, statutory leaves) and support ADA accommodations.
  • Collaborate with brokers on benefits compliance including reporting, required notices, 5500 filings, and nondiscrimination testing.
  • Respond to escalated employee inquiries, provide guidance on complex benefit issues and create resources to promote understanding and engagement of benefits programs.
  • Support wellness initiatives and contribute to global benefits projects as needed.
  • Leads the reconciliation and analysis of all Benefits vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy of data, identifying variances, and driving timely resolution with carriers and internal partners.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and analysis on benefits metrics, trends, and forecasts to various levels of leadership.
  • Participant in the development of key compensation elements including creating and revising compensation structures, job evaluation process, maintain job classification and salary bands and functional reviews.
  • Support the annual merit increase, bonus allocation, and long-term incentive processes, ensuring they are carried out smoothly and within budget.
  • Stay abreast of trends, legislation, and best practices in compensation and benefits to make informed recommendations for program enhancements that align with business goals.
  • Continuously work on process improvements, streamlining and automating workflows to enhance employee experience and increase efficiency.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in compensation and benefits within a fast-paced, complex organization, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Deep knowledge of compensation frameworks, benefits administration, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful total rewards programs that enhance employee engagement and organizational performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proficiency in HRIS tools and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult and negotiate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Certification such as CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) is a plus.
