Job DescriptionGlobal Mobility Specialist III Location: Austin, TX or Albany, NY This position seeks an experienced corporate global mobility professional that will focus on expat management and relocation. The person will sit at our downtown Austin office, working on a hybrid schedule. The Global Mobility Specialist III (GMS) will support all global mobility matters for US hires and TEL's expat population. This individual will be leading matters related to international transfer services including assignment coordination, regulatory immigration requirements, while engaging both internal and external stakeholders, managing the administration of HR global mobility processes for expat and local hires requiring relocation. The GMS III fully understands the employee global mobility life cycle, implications of changes throughout it, and can make recommendations for solutions and process improvements, using judgement and strategic initiative, to both internal HR global mobility and operational processes as well as to external global mobility vendor processes (RMC, tax, and immigration vendors). The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
