What You Will Do

The Janitor independently performs routine and detailed cleaning duties across a variety of workspaces, including but not limited to:



  • Clean offices, corridors, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, escalators, break rooms, libraries, kitchenettes/pantries, stairways, locker rooms, showers, and other assigned areas


  • Sweep and mop floors using appropriate tools and equipment


  • Vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies


  • Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment


  • Polish metal fixtures, fittings, and trim


  • Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, and sills


  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and recyclables to designated disposal areas


  • Replenish restroom and facility supplies


  • Follow all safety standards and guidelines in the use of cleaning equipment and materials


  • Maintain quality standards for all assigned work


  • Complete and maintain all Didlake-required training


  • Demonstrate appropriate conduct and professionalism in accordance with Didlake policies
