Job Summary:
Job Summary: The Wisconsin Union is seeking a motivated leader to help lead student staff and deliver exceptional hospitality as a MultiUnit Supervisor at the Memorial Union. This role is part of the team that oversees effective and efficient scheduling and training for the more than 300 student workers employed by Memorial Union Dining. This position balances scheduling and training responsibilities with realtime oversight of food quality, presentation, and customer service. The successful person in this role will be comfortable working directly with student staff on the line as well as managing data at a desk. As the social heart of UW-Madison, the Wisconsin Union provides events, facilities, and activities for students, staff, faculty, thousands of Union members, and campus visitors. It also offers handson leadership opportunities for hundreds of UW-Madison students. Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds occasionally needed; Ability to work outside in inclement weather needed. Work Schedule and Location: This position is scheduled to work a combination of days, nights and weekends, with 2 days off in a row. Operational and work schedules will be closely aligned with the services and customer needs of our units. As a result, work schedules will be adjusted during specific times of the year to meet demand. Key Job Responsibilities:
Wisconsin Union Compensation:The starting salary is 22.50/ hour - but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
