Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain machining equipment including manual lathes, saws, bending machines, drill presses, and tapping tools.
• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, sketches, work orders, and engineering drawings to complete assignments accurately.
• Perform precision turning, facing, threading, drilling, tapping, and sawing operations per specifications and tolerances.
• Perform material bending and shaping as required for job completion.
• Measure and inspect workpieces using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain safe and organized work area; follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, tool changes, and basic troubleshooting to optimize performance.
• Document work performed, quality inspections, and production data as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in machining or machine operations with a focus on lathe work, drill/tap, sawing, and bending.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain close tolerances.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks).
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Safety-conscious work ethic.
